Additionally, this position will be responsible for organizing and managing training and exercising in support of the resourcing and supply chain program.

The person in this role provides a safe environment for Overlake patients, visitors and staff through leadership of the Emergency Preparedness program. Coordinates organizational activities and informs management of emergency management issues. Acts as the community liaison with local county and state planning activities to include preparedness, mitigation and education. Designs, coordinates and conducts drills and exercises offering subject matter expertise to departmental directors. Conducts employee education and evaluation of Emergency Management programs. Serves as a resource in the development of grant proposals related to Emergency Preparedness for the State of Washington and Seattle/King County.

The incumbent collaborates with a diverse array of internal stakeholders on issues related to emergency management, safety and security, and parking. This position reports to the Assistant Vice President for Infrastructure Services.
