Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management (DEM) is seeking a dynamic person to organize, develop and sustain a comprehensive program that integrates supply chain resilience planning with the delivery of essential commodities, equipment and services to those impacted by disasters in Snohomish County. This position will be responsible for building a comprehensive resourcing program that coordinates local, state and federal government partners, as well as the private sector. Additionally, this position will be responsible for organizing and managing training and exercising in support of the resourcing and supply chain program.

Description
Overlake Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Safety & Emergency Preparedness Coordinator to join our team! The person in this role provides a safe environment for Overlake patients, visitors and staff through leadership of the Emergency Preparedness program. Maintains the Emergency Management plans in accordance with local, state, federal and other accrediting bodies as well as other healthcare regulatory agencies. Coordinates organizational activities and informs management of emergency management issues. Acts as the community liaison with local county and state planning activities to include preparedness, mitigation and education. Designs, coordinates and conducts drills and exercises offering subject matter expertise to departmental directors. Conducts employee education and evaluation of Emergency Management programs. Serves as a resource in the development of grant proposals related to Emergency Preparedness for the State of Washington and Seattle/King County.

This position actively supports and engages in CBC’s values for student learning, culture of excellence, diversity, equity and inclusion, sustainability and wellbeing. The incumbent collaborates with a diverse array of internal stakeholders on issues related to emergency management, safety and security, and parking. This position reports to the Assistant Vice President for Infrastructure Services.
